Oh how we love to reminisce of times past. Thinking back to days of youth and sharing fond memories. Now it’s your wedding day and time to make new memories! The thought of planning a wedding can seem like a daunting task for a lot of brides-to-be, but it doesn’t have to be! The little figures of a bride and groom were in no way making an appearance atop my wedding cake! Going this route may be something you really like, but there are more updated, contemporary ways to top your cake. Go for flowers, a fondant bow, or you can even find some cool decorated letters to make a monogram. Just please, leave the little people alone! Continue Reading »

We have all been to the wedding, or have seen it on t.v., where the bride has ordered a cake that hovers over us like Kilimanjaro. The image remains impressive in my mind… but was it absolutely necessary? Well ladies, not for 2010. Yes, sure, the platinum wedding girls will remain the ones with the mile high cakes, but this season the look is cascading cakes. Multiple cakes with fewer layers, decorated on stands of different heights. Continue Reading »
