I know, each season some new color replaces our most intrepid of shades…but this year I’m not taking about color! “Green” refers to the new eco-friendly movement about putting back into the earth by using products made from organic materials. Oh how we love to reminisce of times past. Thinking back to days of youth and sharing fond memories. Now it’s your wedding day and time to make new memories! I have to admit, I do not like gag cake toppers. While they are traditional, they are ugly and outdated. The little figures of a bride and groom were in no way making an appearance atop my wedding cake! Going this route may be something you really like, but there are more updated, contemporary ways to top your cake. Go for flowers, a fondant bow, or you can even find some cool decorated letters to make a monogram. Just please, leave the little people alone! (more…)
