I know every girl dreams of having their “dream” wedding and wants to feel like a princess on their special day. It is incultured in us from our first Barbie doll as a little girl to the romantic comedies we see as young adults in the movies.
We pick out the most beautiful dresses and adorn ourselves with all the fixings right down to the shoes and matching handbag, but girls please, leave the tiaras to the REAL princesses! I can’t tell you how many girls I see ruin a gorgeous wedding ensemble with gaudy jewel-encrusted head gear.
I saw this awesome article in Inside Weddings Summer 2009 issue. They offer alternatives, such as ornate combs, hair pins, and headbands. They have this sexy appeal most woman may go for and have a great vintage look which is perfect since this is a hot trend right now! Even though they aren’t a tiara, they still have the “bling” you’re looking for. They are a more tasteful alternative than a monster headdress!
