Why am I pushing purple… because I love it and always have. It can be used in so many different ways and in every season. The possibilities are endless.
Versatile Purple
I love it when brides tell me their color scheme involves purple, it prints nicely on invitations and gives a large palate to create from. Purple is extremely versatile and will allow for a huge range of color options. You want a Spring/Summer wedding, great use the pastels. You want a Fall/Winter look, then there are plenty of rich, bold shades to pick from!
Your wedding day motif
Another great option about this color… it goes with almost anything! Use it to mix and match your wedding day motif. If you like Retro, pair it with red and turquoise. If you are going for the soft romance of Vintage, use it in combination with pastels like rose, sage, and beige. Or, bring it big city style mixing it with silver, gold, black, and champagne. Whatever combo you choose, purple will add a power packed punch to your flowers and decor!
Expand purple beyond just your wedding day décor
Please don’t keep this a secret only in your décor… incorporate your color into everything! Start with your bridesmaids, groomsmen, and groom. I love the ladies dressed in purple, it takes a little pressure off the bride to incorporate more color than what she’d like. Keep your look simple… classic dress with subtle accents (the big trend now for brides are colored shoes!). For your men, either a simple accented pocket square, vest, or ties. They don’t have to draped in purple to match your girls, we actually want them to blend in! Polish your look with purple bouquets and you’ll have an ensemble to ensure all eyes are looking at YOU!

I know right? I love the shoes too, which is why I put them in the blog. Sadly, I am still searching. I wish the photographer would’ve focused on the whole shoe, not just the toe area!
