Most wedding sites will tell you the reason we are seeing an increase in brides and grooms choosing to wed on December 31st, is because of the great value couples can swing with hotels and rental companies. I don’t know about you, but I would do it for the party! What an ultimate way to have your cake and eat it too! Throw the biggest party for all your friends and family… and tie the knot as well.
Looking for the best New Years Eve Party ever?
The options are limitless basically because New Years Eve is one of those go-all-out type of nights. Think of the most outrageous things you’ve seen at a wedding, and combine them into one event. I’m talking glitz, glamor, jewels, sparkles, fireworks, fire-breathers, punk bands, boas, masks, strobe lights, and disco balls… anyone exhausted yet? If you have ever dreamed about a photo-booth at your wedding, now would be a great time to have one! This is also probably one of the best times to have children at a wedding (other than Halloween of course!). Keep them entertained with music, dancing, and costumes (this is when feather boas and masks come in handy), just maybe keep objects that make noise away from them… at least until after cake cutting!

This is the time for you and your soul mate to go all out! Can you think of a better way to start your marriage than a wedding that spans two years? Each anniversary is like a new renewal of your marriage (or a “do over” and a clean slate should the going get tough). I can’t think of a better way to ring the New Year and your nuptials than a kiss at midnight on January 1st! After the countdown, stay and party the night away with the ones you love. A champagne toast and a slice of cake sounds like a great way to usher in a new year. Good luck brides and Happy New Year!!!

Wow! This is so glamorous! Even the smores are sparkling – and I am such a sucker for those…
I love the large centerpieces…I bet these could be done economical with tulle or tissue paper flowers.
Thanks for all the great feedback! I agree about making the centerpieces economic…maybe trying baby’s breath also. I love glitter and glam too!!
